Candidate Statement:
(In response to the question, "Please explain why you believe you are qualified for the judicial position for which you are
seeking election.")
After practicing law and litigating for 15 years, I ran for Judge. I was fortunate enough to be elected and have been presiding over cases on my docket since January 4, 2019. I have applied the experience gained practicing law and litigating cases to handling my docket. I have reduced the number of cases on my docket substantially during my time as a Judge. I work hard and have implemented practices that keep my docket moving, but also help those in need to get the treatment or help they need to prevent them from recidivism. I am a firm believer in treating everyone with equity and justice.
