Candidate Statement:
(In response to the question, "Please explain why you believe you are qualified for the judicial position for which you are seeking election.")

I believe that my extensive 18 years of experience in family law spanning from private practitioner, small firm partner, medium size firm associate to a large law firm attorney, in conjunction with my now 17 ½ years as a sitting Domestic and Juvenile Court Judge, has given me a wealth of knowledge and experience that yields exceptional command of all matters that come before this Court. In addition, and importantly, I believe that I have demonstrated my impartiality, independence, sense of fairness and aspiration for legal and judicial excellence throughout my tenure on the bench. Finally, as a Judge, I recognize the importance of the judicial collaboration with external stakeholders and the utilization of data to provide for an overall safer and healthier Franklin County community. With these qualifications it remains my goal to assure those that find themselves in our Domestic or Juvenile Court the best service and outcome that are possible given their circumstances.
