An attorney for over 29 years. Over 25 years of courtroom experience. More than 100 actual trials and hearings. Every type of criminal case, from speeding tickets to Aggravated Murder. Candidate Statement:
(In response to the question, "Please explain why you believe you are qualified for the judicial position for which you are seeking election.")
I believe that my experience is an asset to the bench. I have been fortunate enough to live overseas for two years. I have served in the U.S. Coast Guard at the Coast Guard Academy. I have lived in Columbus for over 29 years, most of that time serving the people of Franklin County as a prosecutor. I have worked hard to keep our community safe, develop good working relationships with law enforcement, and communicate openly and honestly with victims. I believe that the people of Franklin County are best served by having judges with actual courtroom experience.
As a sitting judge, I treat all who appear in front of me with dignity and respect. I am fair, impartial, and work diligently to render decisions in a timely manner. I am honored to be a judge on the Tenth District Court of Appeals and hope to continue to serve our community in that capacity.
